Hi guys! I posted my flavor-infused waters over at Yak Mag, but I love them so much I wanted to share with you guys too.
I drink water from the moment I get up until the moment I go to bed. I love it. And for some reason, I assumed everyone loves it like I do. Wrong! Some people hate to drink water. But even I’ll admit, when I cut out soda several months ago and replaced it with water, my taste buds needed a little pick-me-up. I started drinking lemon water and naturally flavored seltzer water, until recently, when I discovered some new concoctions.
You can buy infused water pitchers, but I’ve yet to pick one up, so I just let the herbs, fruits and veggies soak for awhile in the refrigerator . Cucumbers infuse quickly, whereas, blueberries take longer, but once the flavor sets in, the water is both refreshing and tasty, while being healthy at the same time. Plus I think they're beautiful.
Here are a few of my faves…
Basil and lime.
Blueberry and lemon.
Cucumber and rosemary.
Blueberry water is best left overnight.
This has a unique flavor, but the cucumbers are almost as refreshing as lemons.
Lime and basil is my favorite.
